First day of DPE for Mahi Ako - Aim To encourage students to stay in the ideation and prototyping stage longer

The purpose of today's Design Production Education session was for students to learn the process of developing ideas and prototyping.

It has been a fantastic opportunity for students to learn about the ideation and prototyping process through play. At the same time, it has also been a wonderful opportunity for students to get to know the DPE teachers and for teachers to build positive relationships with the students in Mahi Ako.

The criteria for success:

• Students will develop ideas, refine and transform ideas.
• Learn through Play
• Ideate + Prototype
• Build RELATIONSHIPS - for us to get to know them
