Science of the senses Inquiry

An update for our science of the senses unit.
Today the students have been given their design brief. They are starting to come up with their ideas to show at the exhibition in week ten. An invitation to this will be coming soon.

Design Brief:    Science and the Senses

Opening Statement:

We all use our 5 senses everyday, sometimes without even knowing it. Science allows us to confuse and trick the senses in a way that often brings about unknown feelings or experiences. When these feelings or experiences are created people often react in different ways.

Your challenge is to design, plan, and execute an interactive sensory experience. This involves senses that create varying reactions from a range of ages and backgrounds.

As you complete each stage, you are expected to highlight how your group has done with the tasks at that particular stage, then get that stage signed off by your teacher.
You are also expected to insert photos to show your learning within each stage. Your group will use the following pages to know what tasks are expected at each stage and to show your learning. Enjoy your learning!
